$55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Accountant – Grants & Compliance

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000

Hours: Full-time

Location: Latrobe, PA

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant – Grants & Compliance to oversee financial operations and ensure proper management of grants and restricted funding. This role is key to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance, and assisting with budgets and reporting for a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities Of The Accountant Position

• Record, reconcile, and report financial transactions in compliance with GAAP and federal/state guidelines (including 2 CFR 200)
• The Accountant will manage accounts payable, receivables, donations, grants, and payroll
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist with annual audit preparation
• Prepare and monitor grant budgets, invoices, and compliance reports
• Support the development and tracking of the annual organizational budget
• The Accountant will generate accurate monthly financial statements for leadership and board review
• Maintain vendor files, tax documentation, and assist with year-end filings
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting policies and procedures
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; nonprofit or grant accounting experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office required; Google Suite preferred
