Responsibilities of the Accountant

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
• Prepare deposits and enter them into the accounting system.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Handle payables, receivables, and membership invoices.
• Responsible for financial statement preparation.

Preferred Experience for the Accountant Role

• General accounting experience — hands-on.
• QuickBooks experience is a big plus.
• Strong skills in preparing monthly financial statements.
