Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash operations, including bank reconciliations, ACH uploads, and positive pay review.
• Review and clear daily banking activities, ensuring proper recording of deposits and payments; collaborate with AP on missing or unmatched items.
• Handle incoming cash receipts via various channels and monitor the payments inbox.
• Perform payroll tax filings across multiple states and manage sales and use tax compliance.
• Assist with month-end journal entries, prepaid and accrual postings, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare entries and reports, identify missing transactions, and support compliance with payroll tax filings in five states.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or cash management, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, ACH processing, and positive pay systems.
• Experience with payroll and multi-state tax filings.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Detail-oriented with organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

This role is 100% onsite in South Bend, Indiana. The salary is based on experience within the range of $56,160.00 to $64,500.00 annually.
