Endliss Technology Inc. is a fast-growing electronic startup company based in Hayward.
Due to growth, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Accountant to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Compile, distribute, and provide ongoing analysis of global financial performance via periodic/quarterly/annual reports, both recurring and ad hoc. Manage the acquisition of capital assets, ensure proper recording, amortization, and disposal; perform variance analysis to identify anomalies.
- Prepare various financial statements, including consolidated financial statements detailing assets, liabilities, capital, and profit and loss statements. Assist in preparing reports for investors, management, and external auditors. Manage grant accounting activities, monitor, prepare, and submit reports of all financial activity. Track incoming funds and prepare monthly income vs. expense spreadsheets.
- Research GAAP and tax-related issues, applying knowledge of state and local taxes, federal & state income taxes, sales and use tax, and payroll taxes. File corporate, multi-state property tax returns, business license renewals, manufacturing tax compliance, and sales/use tax returns monthly and quarterly.
- Conduct end-of-month closing entries and reconcile multiple General Ledger accounts. Participate in accurate and timely monthly closes for multiple sites, including bank reconciliations, revenue analysis, and financial statement preparation.
- Perform daily treasury management tasks such as payroll processing, billing, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, corporate insurance, and HR benefits. Support program managers and directors with accounting functions, including expense and invoice processing, billing issues, vendor communications, purchase orders, payments, and statement reviews.
- Advise management on the company's current and projected financial position. Assist in developing analytical and statistical reports to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across different levels of staff
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with accounting software and programs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
