Location: Redmond / Hybrid

Salary Range: $104,000 – $120,640

Our client, a nationally recognized manufacturer with a legacy of innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, is seeking a hands-on Sr. Accountant to support their finance team during a period of transformation and process refinement. As Sr. Accountant, you’ll take ownership of critical accounting functions across two related business entities. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone who thrives in clean-up and catch-up environments—someone who enjoys putting systems in order and elevating reporting accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Bring financial reporting current by reviewing and correcting past entries and ensuring timely, accurate month-end close moving forward.
• Reconcile a backlog of credit card transactions and statements, ensuring all postings are accurate and appropriately categorized.
• Catch up and maintain ongoing bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies with efficiency and precision.
• Clean up balance sheet accounts, working closely with management to resolve legacy issues and ensure integrity across both entities.
• Assist with inventory-related accounting, ensuring alignment between financial records and physical inventory for both companies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement improved accounting processes and controls.
  
  

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or multi-entity environments.
• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant handling reconciliations, clean-up projects, and financial reporting improvements.
• Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to dive into transactional details and identify process gaps.
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting and balance sheet management.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; ERP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
