Senior Accountant – Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting both routine and strategic accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while making an impact on a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and analyze accurate accounting reports and present findings
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and budgets on schedule
• Support audits and tax return preparation
• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven accounting experience, ideally with leadership or management exposure
• Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
