Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

SHR Talent is partnering with a hyper-growth mode healthcare client in Nashville, TN in its search for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant role is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization at the forefront of the healthcare industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial integrity and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making and will also have an opportunity to get exposure into more FP&A focused responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide recommendations to optimize revenue generation, cost control, and profitability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement efficient financial processes and internal controls, driving continuous improvement and mitigating risks
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, monitoring performance against targets and identifying areas of improvement
  • Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or variances in a timely manner
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors to address any inquiries or findings
  • Stay updated on industry trends, accounting principles, and regulatory changes, implementing best practices to optimize financial operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, strongly preferred
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry or Public Accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas and analyze large datasets
