Bell & Associates has been engaged to help our client find their next Senior Accountant. An experienced Sr. Accountant is needed to join the accounting and tax services team with an established public accounting firm in Austin, TX. Our client is known for being a great, family-friendly company to work for.

The right candidate will have the ability to apply accounting principles to analyze client provided financial information, as well as financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Accounting services for a variety of business clients.
• Payroll processing and payroll tax preparation.
• Responsible for accurate and efficient completion of individual and business tax returns.
• Review of IRS and state tax notices to determine appropriate action to take for an acceptable resolution.
• Analysis of client prepared financial statements, including preparation of adjusting journal entries as necessary.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of accounting experience required with a concentration in accounting services.
• CPA or EA preferred, not required
• Personal/business income tax preparation experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as with other team members and management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills not only with clients but with other team members within the Company.
• Knowledge of various Accounting & Tax software
