Job Description

Our client, a fast-growing organization in Seymour, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and streamlining accounting processes as the company scales. The role involves working closely with the Controller and finance team to support strategic decision-making through financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Analyze financial data and prepare internal reports for management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking variances.
• Partner with internal teams and external auditors to support audits and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Identify opportunities for improving systems, processes, and controls.
• Contribute to building financial infrastructure to support company growth.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite.
• BA in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of related experience.
