Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Manage and analyze membership revenue accounts, including deferred income, receivables, allowances, and annual true-up entries.
• Support annual audit preparation by creating schedules and working directly with external auditors.
• Oversee accounting for cash, investments, inventory, and intercompany accounts.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to strengthen accounting operations, controls, and reporting.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance with GAAP, and smooth system/process transitions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting (required).
• 46 years of progressive accounting experience, with solid general ledger, close, and reconciliations background.
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (reconciliations, analysis).
• NetSuite experience highly desirable; public accounting background also welcome.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills; detail-oriented with a positive, collaborative mindset.
