Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Manage membership-related accounting: deferred income, receivables, allowances, bad debt, and annual true-up entries.
• Support the annual audit, preparing schedules and reports for external auditors.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and partner closely with another GL Manager on shared responsibilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the transition to NetSuite.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting (required).
• 46 years of progressive accounting experience (general ledger, reconciliations, close).
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; ability to work with reconciliations and account analysis.
• NetSuite experience highly desirable; legacy Dynamics SL exposure a plus but not required.
• Public accounting experience or candidates moving from public to industry welcome.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills must be detail-oriented with a positive, collaborative mindset.
