This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Virginia Beach, VA. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial statements, performing general ledger accounting, conducting audits, and ensuring financial compliance. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while collaborating with various departments to provide financial insights and support. The role also involves the preparation of tax returns and will require close monitoring of accounts payable and receivable.

• Proficient in financial statements, general ledger accounting, and audits
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance
• Skills in managing accounts payable and receivable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively on-site in Virginia Beach, VA
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification is preferred
• Experience in the defense or engineering industry is a plus
