Job Title: Project Accountant

Role Specific Introduction:

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role is a key part of our Accounting & Finance department and is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will support day-to-day financial operations and play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to contribute to process improvements and business operations in a dynamic, team-based culture. This full time in-person role based out of our St. Louis headquarters.

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a professional office environment
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries
  
  
  

• Maintain and conduct general-ledger account reconciliations, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Support Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.
• Work directly with the Accounting Manager to support timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with ongoing ERP system maintenance and respond to user inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the integrity of all financial data.
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
• Apply strong analytical thinking to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel Knowledge, QuickBooks, Unanet knowledge is a plus.
  
  
  

• Salary dependent on Education and Experience $60,000- $72,000
