Our client is a respected institution in the higher education sector seeking a Senior Accountant to join their evolving accounting team. This full-time, hybrid role reports directly to the Assistant Controller and offers a mix of general ledger ownership, cash management, and treasury-related responsibilities.

• Manage daily cash flow and treasury operations
• Oversee debt servicing and related financial activities
• Maintain and improve cash flow forecasts (currently manual)
• Own assigned general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations
• Contribute to financial reporting and Workday Financials optimization projects
• Participate in departmental initiatives to streamline and improve processes
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Solid general ledger accounting experience
• Experience with treasury functions, cash management, or debt servicing preferred
• Exposure to higher education and/or Workday Financials is a plus
• Comfortable handling transactional tasks within a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and interest in operational improvement
