We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our corporate headquarters team based in White Plains, NY. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Client's accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records for their Corporate office and its domestic subsidiaries.

Core Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis for multiple entities
• Maintain and reconcile various balance sheet accounts including cash, prepaid expenses, intercompany expenses, accruals and allocations
• Handle banking transactions and reconciliations, including deposits and online banking management
• Prepare financial statements and maintain accounting records
• Handle tax compliance including sales and use tax, respond to tax notices, and process refund requests
• Support audit processes and tax preparation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Identify and implement process improvements
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience needed
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
