Our client, a well-known financial services firm in Greenwich, CT, is looking to add a Corporate Accountant to their team! This role will focus on supporting the firm’s day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and general ledger management. The Corporate Accountant will also assist with reconciliations, reporting, and special projects as needed.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Assisting with month-end close and preparation of journal entries
• Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports and schedules
• Collaborating with internal teams on expense tracking and reporting
• Assisting with ad hoc accounting projects as needed

Requirements:

• 2–10 years of corporate accounting experience from a professional services or financial services firm
• Strong understanding of core accounting functions: AP, AR, month-end, GL
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
