Reporting to the CFO, this person will lead core functions like payroll oversight, billing for auxiliary programs, budgeting, audit prep, and financial documentation. The organization is growing, with new initiatives on the horizon, and needs someone who can build structure while supporting a collaborative, service-oriented team.

Title: Sr. Accountant

Location: 5x a week onsite in Seattle, WA

Compensation: Up to $115k for base salary + up to 7% 401(k) match + 6 weeks of PTO + Other Great Benefits!

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional General Ledger Accounting experience
• Nonprofit/Education or mission-based experience is required
• Understanding of restricted funds or grant accounting
• Familiarity with tools like Blackbaud, Rippling, or similar
• Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
• Interest in education or community-based work is a plus
