Delivery Service Driver

The Delivery Service Driver is essential to the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our drivers are CDL-certified and foster strong relationships with food service customers, ensuring a superior customer experience at every stop. As a Delivery Service Driver, you will operate an automatic, 12,000-20,000 lb. GVW straight truck on a local route to deliver products and serve as the first point of contact for customer needs.

Schedule:

Tuesday - Friday (4x10s), 6:00 pm - 4:30 am, including one overnight shift Wednesday - Thursday.

Pay Rate:

$28 per hour + shift differential. Bonus opportunities of up to $1000 per quarter (up to $4000 per year).

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Comply with internal processes, procedures, and all local and federal regulations including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
  • Maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License.
  • Deliver and pick up products by loading/unloading trucks, connecting hoses, and checking tanks at customer locations.
  • Verify log information and input data into iPhone applications, including hours of service and customer invoicing.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure service standards and meet expectations.
  • Service customer needs professionally and train customers on systems as needed.
  • Ensure no oil outs and accurately track and report each customer stop.

Education, Requirements & Competencies:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement.
  • At least 6 months of driving experience or recent CDL graduation from an accredited school.
  • Meet Restaurant Technologies' Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds manually.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, reach.
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 2 years of CDL driving experience.
  • Bilingual abilities.
  • Knowledge of hand tools.
