We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our team in Torrance, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring efficient and attentive communication. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a multi-line phone system, including answering and routing inbound calls promptly and accurately.
• Greet visitors with a detail-oriented approach and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain the reception area to ensure it is welcoming and organized.
• Handle switchboard operations efficiently, managing calls across multiple lines.
• Provide support for administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and distributing mail.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication between departments when necessary.
• Keep accurate records of visitor logs and other relevant documentation.
• Assist with part-time reception duties as required.• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a receptionist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems, including switchboard operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to handle inbound calls with accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with basic administrative tasks and office equipment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
