We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team in Cupertino, California. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic office environment while developing your administrative skills. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist visitors with a friendly and detail-oriented demeanor, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate personnel or department.
• Manage and coordinate appointment schedules and maintain accurate records.
• Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, providing timely responses to inquiries.
• Handle mail distribution, package management, and other correspondence tasks efficiently.
• Perform a variety of administrative duties, including data entry, document filing, and record organization.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.
• Support additional office operations and functions as needed to ensure smooth workflow.
• Address customer inquiries and provide information in a courteous and detail-oriented manner.• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or an associate degree is advantageous.
• At least one year of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to multitask effectively while working independently.
• Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic office software and organizational tools.
• Previous experience with switchboard operations or similar systems is a plus.
