LHH has partnered with a great firm seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Legal Receptionist to join their team. This role is essential to maintaining a welcoming and efficient front office environment while supporting various administrative functions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Visitor Management

  • Answer and direct incoming calls from the main line

  • Take and relay messages accurately

  • Greet visitors and determine the purpose of their visit

  • Maintain a professional and tidy reception area, conference rooms, and shared spaces (kitchen, copy room, war room, hallways)

Conference Room Coordination

  • Schedule and manage bookings for large and small conference rooms

  • Prepare rooms for meetings (e.g., water pitchers, Keurig machine, chair arrangement)

  • Ensure rooms are clean and stocked before and after meetings

  • Provide parking validations when applicable

Document & Mail Handling

  • Process incoming documents including faxes and OCR tasks

  • Circulate court-related emails (District, Bankruptcy, Appeals)

  • Manage incoming mail and distribute documents to appropriate staff

  • Prepare and process FedEx/UPS labels and returned mail

Supply & Inventory Management

  • Monitor and restock office and kitchen supplies

  • Maintain organized copier and file rooms

  • Order letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and other materials

  • Run dishwasher and ensure kitchen cleanliness

Administrative Support

  • Assist with event setup and cleanup

  • Provide general support to staff and attorneys

  • Reserve attorneys for remote court appearances and update calendars

  • Serve as backup for file clerk duties (scanning, filing)

  • Perform other tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of reception experience required; law office experience preferred

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Familiarity with Clio, Dropbox, and electronic document management systems is a plus

Job Details:

  • Direct Hire: Salary, $42,000 - $45,000

  • In - Office, Mon - Fri

  • Location: Downtown LA

  • This listing represents the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Compensation for this position is estimated between $42,000 and $45,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.



Pay Details: $42,000.00 to $45,000.00 per year
