Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist responsible for delivering excellent customer service, greeting visitors, answering calls, and directing them appropriately. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and staff upon arrival and connect them with the appropriate department.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly.
- Announce arrivals to staff using walkie-talkies or the team's system.
- Manage guest sign-in on Greetly and maintain the privacy of the guest log.
- Accept deliveries and mail, and inform staff accordingly.
- Provide administrative support as needed, approved by the Office Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness of the reception area and work desk.
- Stock coffee, office, and printer supplies.
- Coordinate with vendors when applicable.
- Handle postage and prepare staff mailings.
- Follow agency policies, including punctuality and attendance, and observe vacation notice procedures.
- Participate in weekly/monthly supervision and training sessions.
- Adhere to Housing Works policies outlined in the employee handbook and other manuals.
- Send monthly communication emails to staff regarding important updates.
