United Talent is immediately hiring for aClerk Receptionistfor aCharleston,WV company.
JOB DUTIES:
JOB DUTIES:
This position is responsible for the highest level of customer service for both clients and staff in providing a point of contact for walk in traffic, incoming phone calls and providing office support to all Public Housing tenants and Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program participants.
PAY & SHIFT:Hours will be Mon-Fri. Pay willstart at $14.10/hour
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be good with computers
EXCEL experience
Reliable transportation to and from work
Time management skills
Be able to work independently and as a team
High School Diploma or GED
Customer Service
- Answer large volume of incoming telephone calls, assist callers, provide information, make community referrals, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Refer clients to appropriate department staff for appointments or assistance.
- Provide accurate information regarding application procedures, waiting lists, and qualifications to both callers and walk-in clients.
- Provide and maintain appropriate forms, as needed.
- Maintain professional and personable customer service.
- Advise supervisors ifclientwait time exceeds 15 minutes.
Office Responsibilities
- Issue pre-applications or documents of application process togeneral public, clientele, community agencies, etc. by efficiently explainingapplication process and in accordance with Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Federal, State procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Mail paper pre-applications to applicants upon request.
- Accept completed paper applications ensuring application and all appropriate forms are completed with appropriate information, signatures, dates, etc. by appropriate household members; ensure appropriate verification and/or documentation is submitted with completed application; scan all documentation into electronic filing system. • Make copies.
- Date stamp incoming paperwork and file electronically.
- Route incoming mail and paperwork to appropriate staff members.
- Maintain clientele, staff and agency confidentiality is mandatory.
- Open lobby at 8:00 a.m. and close at 4 p.m.
- Ensure lobby is clean andorganized at all times.
- Special projects as needed.
