Overview
The Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor, ensuring each person who enters the office feels valued and supported.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate personnel.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendar for office staff.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a related role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
