Director of Sales + Marketing @ Rockway | Marketing + Events Strategist | Solving Problems with Big Ideas + Processes

Type: Full-Time

Reports to: Director of Sales + Marketing

Rockway Exhibits + Events blends strategy, creative, and execution to help brands win at trade shows and corporate events. We’re hiring a Sales + Marketing Manager to drive lead growth and conversion, keep the GTM machine aligned, and turn plans into measurable results.

Own day-to-day execution across sales and marketing. Support specialists, enforce standards, and use data to improve pipeline health, velocity, and revenue.Core responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

GTM execution

  • Translate CEO/Leadership priorities into projects with assignments, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Maintain a campaign/editorial calendar across podcast, live shows, social, case studies, blog, and ads.
  • Review/approve outgoing assets for message, brand, and conversion fit; brief freelancers and give clear feedback.

Podcast, live shows, and social (growth, not production)

  • Set attendance/listener/view goals; partner with the team on promotion plans that hit them.
  • Coordinate in-office content capture (light support on filming/editing assets) so social team has what they need.
  • Track reach, watch time, and sourced/assisted leads; double down on what performs.
  • Support team in guidance on content topics.
  • Build and maintain on-brand playbooks, one-pagers, decks, ROI worksheets, email sequences, and landing pages.
  • Convert our frameworks (e.g., Event Success Framework) and podcast insights into sales-ready stories and visuals.
  • Manage version control, library findability, and adoption by the sales team.
  • Act as a liaison within the sales and marketing team.

Paid, web, and CRO

  • With ad/social partners: define audiences, budgets,copy/design and tests; iterate based on ROAS/CPL/CAC.
  • With web partner: web pages oversight, improve UX/CRO, and ensure tracking is accurate end-to-end.

ABM and list operations

  • Oversee ICP/show/exhibitor list building; run targeted multi-touch campaigns to those lists.
  • Equip reps with segment-specific collateral and micro-campaigns.

CRM, automations, and data

  • Own Pipedrive structure, hygiene, stages, and SLAs (lead response and next steps).
  • Implement/maintain automations and integrations (Zapier, form→CRM routing, scoring, alerts, drip).
  • Identify funnel leaks and run experiments to improve conversion.

Cadence & project management

  • Run weekly marketing and revenue reports; track milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Lead post-mortems after major campaigns/shows; roll improvements into simple SOPs.

Accountability (primary KPIs)

  • New qualified leads
  • Podcast growth (attendees, listeners, watch-through)
  • Reporting accuracy and CRM health/compliance
  • Campaign/project on-time completion rate

What you’ll bring

  • 3–5 years in growth/marketing ops or revenue ops supporting a B2B sales team.
  • Hands-on CRM ownership (Pipedrive knowledge a bonus), rigorous data hygiene, and dashboarding.
  • Proven enablement chops: persuasive decks/one-pagers/playbooks that move deals.
  • Working knowledge of automations/integrations (Zapier or similar), lead routing/scoring, and attribution.
  • Project management discipline; you hit dates and keep cross-functional work unblocked.
  • Balanced creative + analytical skillset; clear copy and comfort in spreadsheets.
  • ABM familiarity; exposure to paid social/search, email, and content repurposing.
  • Tools: Pipedrive, Zapier, Canva, Airtable/Notion; AI-forward mindset for workflow and ops.
  • Bonus: exhibits/events industry, podcast/live-show promotion, basic SQL.
