About The Role

As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, key account management, and providing excellent customer service. You will have direct responsibility for commercial activities, including quotations, market intelligence, and relationship management. Building internal relationships with Engineering, Production, Quality, and the Global Sales team will be critical for success. This position is based out of Mi-Tech’s HQ in Indianapolis, IN, and reports directly to the Head of Sales. Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and ensure the success of results-oriented sales and marketing strategies for Mi-Tech’s products and services within the defined territory
  • Execute strategic goals in collaboration with Business Division Managers, and personally care for and manage key accounts
  • Track all customer interactions and produce monthly and quarterly reports on territory activity, such as number of visits, calls, and quotations. Provide travel summaries, analysis of account growth, profitability, market potential, and forecast
  • Analyze trends, market studies, and business opportunities to generate annual planning and targets
  • Manage contribution margins, optimize market position, market presence, and services within your territory
  • Participate in industry trade shows and conferences, sales meetings, and periodic planned visits to the company HQ and other Plansee facilities throughout the world

What We Expect from You

  • A BS degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Min. 5 years of industrial B2B sales and marketing experience
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically, approximately 25% of the time or as needed
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with market intelligence tools like CRM and CCM
  • Knowledge of the SAP is a significant plus.
