Overview of the Role

As an electrician at Vaulted, you will perform skilled electrical work related to the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment at Vaulted’s facility. Your work should be efficient and timely to ensure safe operations. You will regularly inspect electrical systems for safety and communicate their status to the team. Ultimately, your work helps slow climate change by sequestering organic waste that removes harmful Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) from the atmosphere.

About the Role

As an electrician, your work helps slow climate change and protect your community by maintaining electrical systems that process organic waste, reducing environmental pollution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assess and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, pumps, motors, and switches.
  • Diagnose problems and repair electrical systems promptly.
  • Test repaired systems to ensure compliance with National Electric Code and regulations.
  • Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Communicate with operators, supervisors, and mechanics about electrical issues and repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems for safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records of electrical work.
  • Follow safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
  • Participate in training and meetings.

The position offers overtime pay, bonuses, and after 90 days, benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, PTO, and 401k.

Work schedule is roughly 40 hours per week, with flexibility across all days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Associate’s degree in Industrial Electrical Technology or related field.
  • Valid Kansas Driver’s License.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an electrician, preferably with heavy equipment.
  • Electrical license in Kansas preferred.
  • Understanding of electrical systems in heavy machinery, engines, transmissions, hydraulics.
  • Attention to detail and ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to safety.

Additional Information and Requirements

  • Ability to work with machinery up to 80 pounds.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb on, under, and around equipment as needed.
