U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is hiring: Electrician in Rosebud

This position is located at the Rosebud PHS Indian Hospital, Rosebud South Dakota. The purpose of this position is to perform journeyman electrician duties.

Duties

Perform journeyman electrician responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Selectee may be subject to a probationary period.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• This position is covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children. The agency must ensure that persons hired have not been found guilty of certain crimes.
• Measles and Rubella immunization are required for selectees born after 1957. Seasonal influenza immunization is required for all staff working in Indian Health Service health care facilities.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to entrance on duty.

• Set up direct deposit for salary payments.
• Background Investigation: Undergo a pre-employment fingerprint check and background investigation. Clearance is required prior to hire and continued employment depends on the outcome.
