We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both HR and administrative functions within a dynamic and personality-driven workplace. The role involves managing HR responsibilities for a team of 56 employees and supporting administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
• Process payroll on a biweekly basis and oversee tax filings while addressing employee inquiries.
• Administer day-to-day employee benefits, including managing third-party services such as 401(k) plans.
• Post job openings approximately 4-5 times per year and assist with recruitment tasks.
• Update organizational handbooks and maintain accurate documentation.
• Handle administrative tasks such as inventory management and office maintenance.
• Support onboarding processes and ensure compliance with HR policies.
• Manage HRIS systems and maintain employee records.
• Coordinate background checks and assist in employee relations matters.
• Provide assistance with organizational management tasks to enhance internal operations.• Proven experience in Human Resources administration, including payroll and benefits management.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong background in onboarding and employee relations.
• Proficiency in conducting background checks and ensuring compliance.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including inventory management.
• Ability to post job openings and support recruitment efforts.
• Effective communication skills to thrive in a personality-driven and advisory-focused environment.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic setting.
