HR Specialist
Position Summary
LHH is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support our clients’ human resources operations across five facilities in the Hillsboro/Aloha area. This role is essential in maintaining effective communication between staffing agencies, employees, and management, while also leading employee engagement initiatives and ensuring data accuracy across HR systems.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, highly organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-site environment. This is a full-time, onsite role with a structured training period and a clear schedule. The assignment is expected to last 5–6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124
Shift & Schedule: Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM / Training schedule (first 3–4 weeks): Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.25/hour

Typical Day-to-Day Activities & Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between staffing agencies, employees, and managers to facilitate clear and timely communication.
Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement events and activities across multiple buildings.
Maintain and publish the employee engagement calendar.
Perform data entry, management, and correction of various Excel files related to HR operations.
Deliver onboarding training and other workforce training sessions as needed.
Review and approve disciplinary documentation in accordance with company policies.
Support general HR functions and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Prior experience in Human Resources or a related administrative role.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Experience with employee engagement initiatives is a plus.
Comfortable working onsite and supporting multiple locations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.25 per hour
