Overview
Our client is seeking an HR Specialist. Our client is a fast-growing, dynamic online retailer known for their commitment to exceptional customer service and innovative e-commerce solutions. Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for Team Member inquiriesresolving questions via inbound/outbound calls, ServiceNow tickets, and other channels by applying HR knowledge and research.
- Provide Tier 1 support across core HR service areas, including benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Identify key moments in the employee lifecycle and partner with leaders to deliver positive and memorable experiences.
- Offer feedback and recommendations to improve HR services, programs, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and other reference materials to support HR operations.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and documentation.
- Support HR projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
- 13+ years of HR experience (HR Generalist experience in a service delivery or operations environment highly preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Must have UKG Pro WFM experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Customer service mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to adjust your work schedule based on business needs.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, Kronos, or Greenhouse.
