Terms of Employment

  • W2 Contract, 6 months
  • This position is hybrid with 3 days onsite.
  • The office is located in Plantation, Florida.

Overview

Our client is seeking an HR Specialist. Our client is a fast-growing, dynamic online retailer known for their commitment to exceptional customer service and innovative e-commerce solutions. Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for Team Member inquiries—resolving questions via inbound/outbound calls, ServiceNow tickets, and other channels by applying HR knowledge and research.
  • Provide Tier 1 support across core HR service areas, including benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Identify key moments in the employee lifecycle and partner with leaders to deliver positive and memorable experiences.
  • Offer feedback and recommendations to improve HR services, programs, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and other reference materials to support HR operations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and documentation.
  • Support HR projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–3+ years of HR experience (HR Generalist experience in a service delivery or operations environment highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must have UKG Pro WFM experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Customer service mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to adjust your work schedule based on business needs.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, Kronos, or Greenhouse.
