Overview
Our growing client in the construction industry is looking for a skilled HR Generalist to support human resources functions across multiple business units. The position involves employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS management, and benefits support.
Location: Onsite in Englewood, CO
Role: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $32-$38/hr
Responsibilities
- Acts as primary HR contact for employees and managers across several states
- Assists with benefits enrollment, changes, and open enrollment
- Manages full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for mid-to-senior level roles
- Coordinates background checks, start dates, and I-9 verification
- Provides payroll compliance support and HR reporting
- Maintains personnel records and documentation
- Offers backup support for HR Director during leave and absences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 5+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
- Strong multi-state compliance knowledge; California compliance knowledge strongly preferred
- Advanced HRIS experience (Paycom preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in the Denver Tech Center, CO
