Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $23.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key contact for employee relations, assisting employees with HR-related questions or concerns.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to managers and employees to ensure compliance.
  • Manage and track employee leaves, including unemployment claims, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Oversee various employee training programs to support professional development and compliance.
  • Assist managers with recruitment efforts, including job postings, applicant tracking, and interview coordination.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 1+ year(s) of HR or equivalent experience.
  • Possess strong organizational and communication skills to handle employee inquiries effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS, ATS, and ADP systems.
  • Maintain excellent computer skills, including data entry and data processing.
  • Show strong empathy and interpersonal skills to foster a positive workplace environment.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma with additional HR certification.
  • Exhibit knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities within an HR function.
  • Display attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Maintain experience in handling investigations related to HR matters and ensuring policy compliance.
  • Be capable of maintaining and updating employer policy documentation and job descriptions as needed.
