This position supports the employee onboarding experience and assists a designated hospital leadership group with compliance, payroll, benefits, employee engagement, Workers Compensation, unemployment, and the performance appraisal process.
Responsibilities
- Conducts new employee orientation
- Responsible for the employee onboarding process
- Responsible for HR compliance with respect to ongoing employee training, assessments, and related documentation
- Assists with workers compensation, unemployment appeals and employee relations as requested
- Assists in planning and executing employee morale activities
- Updates HRIS as needed
Required Qualifications
- Must have either High School diploma or GED equivalent with 4 years of experience in a Human Resources generalist position OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 2 years of experience in a Human Resources generalist position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Human Resources generalist position within the healthcare field
- Human Resources Professional Certification
- Previous experience with UKG/Ultipro
