Position Summary:
Guerdon is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Human Resources Manager to join our team. The Human Resources Manager is solely responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources function. The Human Resources Manager will exhibit leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of organization and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and design the implementation of employee development, and leadership training programs to enhance skills and career growth opportunities.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to address workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development needs.
- Work closely with leadership on a wide range of HR Services including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and benefits administration.
- Assist leaders across the company resolve complex employee relations issues with a fair and consistent approach.
- Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization\'s policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters.
- Developing and implementing HR strategies that support the organization\'s overall business objectives.
- Leading the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent across all company levels.
- Managing performance management processes, ensuring that employees receive constructive feedback and recognition.
- Stay informed about HR trends and changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Manage employee onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and guide on employee relations issues.
- Analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Master’s degree in human resources management or related fields, highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in human resources, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
- 4 to 6 years of progressive HR experience or senior HR leadership role.
- Human Resources certification in HR, preferred (e.g., SHRM, HRCI).
- Deep understanding of organizational development, employee engagement, and change management.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to HR decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change within a company.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies.
- Knowledge of employee benefits and compensation structures.
- Familiarity with talent management and development practices.
- Understanding of employee engagement strategies and best practices.
