About Us:

At Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, resident-focused environment where staff are valued, heard, and empowered. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team and support the day-to-day HR operations in our skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the hiring process: posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews
  • Manage and maintain employee records and HR files
  • Assist in onboarding new hires, including orientations and paperwork
  • Track attendance and PTO, and assist with timesheets
  • Support benefits and payroll inquiries
  • Help plan and coordinate staff events and employee recognition
  • Serve as a point of contact for staff questions and concerns


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Prior experience in HR or administrative support; healthcare experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic HR practices and labor laws is a bonus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using HRIS systems, Excel, and email


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour shifts
  • On-site only
