Flagger Force , an industry leader in traffic control, is currently hiring a Human Resources Coordinator. This position will work out of our corporate campus located in Hummelstown, PA.
The Human Resources Coordinator provides essential administrative support across multiple HR functions including employee record management, unemployment claim processing, employee discipline documentation, benefits administration support, and the coordination of onboarding and offboarding processes for office employees. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant processing of HR transactions and communications while maintaining confidentiality and upholding company values, vision, and mission.
Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Maintains both electronic and historical filing systems; ensures accurate documentation and timely response to information requests.
- Audits and enters employee data into HR information systems with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assists with compiling HR metrics and reports as needed.
- Processes and maintains records of employee disciplinary documents and corrective actions.
- Provides administrative support for HR Generalists in the coordination and tracking of discipline documentation.
- Assists with compliance-related tasks including preparation for audits and document retention.
- Processes unemployment claims including data gathering, tracking open/closed cases, and compiling required metrics.
- Supports preparation and participation in unemployment hearings and related follow-up.
- Provides administrative support for benefit processes including enrollments, terminations, and changes.
- Assists in collecting, formatting, and submitting benefits invoices for approval and payment.
- Supports employee communication regarding benefits-related questions.
- Coordinates administrative aspects of onboarding and offboarding for office employees, including paperwork, systems setup/removal, and orientation scheduling.
- Prepares and tracks new hire documentation and ensures accurate recordkeeping in HR systems.
- Supports the implementation of onboarding schedules and checklists for office-based roles.
- Assists with special projects and other tasks as assigned by HR leadership.
- Participation in departmental meetings and training sessions as needed.

- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or HR-related experience.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems.
