Human Resources Manager Bilingual (English/Spanish) – on-site operation in Garden Grove, CA. This boots-on-the-ground leadership role supports 3 shifts and up to 300 employees, depending on the season. Working schedule: M-F. Compensation: $120k–$135k base + bonus potential.
Overview
Position: Human Resources Manager (Bilingual: English/Spanish). Location: Garden Grove, CA. Reports: on-site General Manager (dotted-line); Day-to-day contact with off-site HR Director.
What Youll Be Doing
- Partner with leadership to support workforce needs across 3 shifts, ensuring consistent policies and practices.
- Lead all onsite HR operations including hiring, onboarding, compliance, performance management, employee relations, and engagement.
- Actively recruit for hourly and salaried roles; screen, interview, and onboard new hires.
- Drive a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace culture through programs, communication, and employee support.
- Administer benefits, manage leaves of absence, and support open enrollment, keeping communication clear and bilingual.
- Ensure HR compliance with labor laws and company policies (FMLA, EEO, ADA, OSHA, etc.).
- Support managers with coaching, documentation, and performance improvement plans.
- Track HR metrics and use data to guide decisions around engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Handle safety incident reporting and coordinate workers' compensation claims.
- Be a visible, approachable presence for all employees across every shift.
What Were Looking For
- Fluent Spanish and English (verbal and written) required.
- BS degree preferred but practical, hands-on experience valued most.
- 4+ years HR experience and 2+ years in a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment required.
- Solid working knowledge of employment laws and compliance.
- Strong recruiting experience (hourly and salaried roles).
- Comfortable working independently and onsite with a distributed HR leadership structure.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Paylocity preferred) and Microsoft Office.
- SHRM certification a plus.
- Must be organized, solutions-oriented, able to adapt to shifting priorities.

Qualifications
Must have previous HR Manager experience in manufacturing. Spanish speaker required. Must live within daily commutable distance of Garden Grove/Long Beach site. Will report to offsite HR Director and dotted line to onsite General Manager.
