We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to fill the role of Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations at a unionized production facility. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting site leadership, fostering a positive employee culture, and ensuring compliance across all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Advise and support plant leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of HRIS, timekeeping, and payroll-related systems.
  • Lead workplace safety initiatives and serve as a point of contact for risk and compliance matters.
  • Partner with union leadership to address grievances and uphold the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Supervise and support a small HR team.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Prior experience in a union environment required.
  • Knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • PHR certification is a plus.

Pay Transparency Statement

In compliance with New Jersey law, we are providing the salary range for this position. The base salary range is $100,000 to $120,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
