Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator at Latrobe supports the HR team in strategic and administrative functions, providing excellent customer service and acting as the point of contact for employees. This role involves participating in projects aimed at enhancing the experience for candidates and employees as the company grows.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to HR-related employee questions and concerns; escalate as needed.
- Collaborate on recruiting, onboarding, and training metrics.
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding activities for hourly positions.
- Review bi-weekly payroll submissions before processing.
- Coordinate with the Training Manager to ensure proper onboarding.
- Monitor job boards and social media for open positions.
- Participate in job fairs, community outreach, and external partnerships.
- Perform administrative duties and coordinate meetings and events.
- Maintain internal communications and company bulletin boards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
- Assist in implementing HR initiatives.
- Promote a safe work environment by understanding safety practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
- At least 2 years of HR-related experience.
- Experience with recruiting and payroll (preferred).
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Ability to commute between sites and external events.
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 employee population.
