Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Our client has been established for more than 20 years and helps companies and organizations from small to large outsource and automate all aspects of their human resource operations. For small to medium size organizations, they provide a host of HRO solutions including comprehensive HR solutions, payroll services and menu based, separate HR solutions. The separate HR solutions include affordable benefits, safety management and a host of other solutions.

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Human Resources Manager. As a manager in this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee benefits programs and coordinating HR activities to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's HR and benefits strategy and driving employee satisfaction and engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and administer comprehensive employee benefits programs, including but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and voluntary benefits.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees with questions or concerns regarding benefits, enrollment, and eligibility.
  • Educate employees on benefits options and choices, facilitating effective communication and ensuring a clear understanding of available benefits.
  • Oversee the annual open enrollment process, including coordinating with insurance providers, updating communication materials, and conducting employee information sessions.
  • Keep abreast of changing regulations and industry trends to ensure benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Collaborate with insurance brokers and vendors to evaluate benefit plan design options, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Administer various HR policies and programs, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, employee records maintenance, and HRIS data management.
  • Conduct HR audits to ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Support and guide managers and employees on HR-related concerns, including performance management, leaves of absence, and employee relations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to enhance HR effectiveness and ensure consistent practices across the organization.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports related to HR and benefits metrics for management and compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Must hold a SPHR, PHR or SHRM certificate.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR and benefits administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits concepts and regulations.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Prism HR, HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in managing employee records and benefits data.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
