We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is key to supporting the daily functions of the HR department, including recruiting and onboarding, administering pay and benefits, supporting employee relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful problem-solver, passionate about people, and dedicated to building a positive employee experience.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and competencies.
- Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verification.
- Coordinate and track compliance with training, certifications, and required assessments.
- Support employees with questions on benefits, payroll, and policies.
- Administer HR programs covering compensation, leave, performance management, safety, and recognition.
- Participate in investigations, disciplinary meetings, and employee relations matters.
- Stay up to date with federal, state, and local labor laws and ensure company compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee engagement initiatives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or other HR certification a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems a plus.
