Job Description
The Business Analyst will report directly to the Director, Technology Services. This position is responsible for providing business analysis activities to support project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the TS Director and Project Managers. The role requires a results-oriented individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for collaboration. Key capabilities include financial analysis, with preferred experience in Fin Tech, financial, or asset management sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Support the PMO and Project Managers in identifying resources required for projects.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Review and edit requirements, specifications, and business processes.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments, contributing to risk mitigation plans.
- Develop, execute, and lead user acceptance testing efforts.
- Update documentation based on stakeholder feedback.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams.
- Document and distribute meeting minutes.
- Support TS Operations with data analysis, documentation, and support tasks.
- Ensure issues/defects are tracked and resolved promptly.
- Identify required changes and communicate them to technical teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in developing proposals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or diploma.
- 3-5 years’ experience in business analysis.
- Proven financial analysis experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies rapidly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project; advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently.
- Experience in multi-vendor environments.
- Preferred experience in mergers & acquisitions, Fin Tech, Financial, or Asset Management sectors.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $100,000, with a bonus component. Compensation varies based on experience and other factors.
