Overview

This position will serve as a primary resource for strategic, market and/or business development initiatives, actively seeking opportunities for growth of the TriHealth system and services. May also serve as a resource for process improvement and creation of a more efficient and effective workplace. This will be accomplished through collection and analysis of data, development and writing implementation of business and strategic plans and related analysis, analytic project design and management. Uses Business Intelligence tools (i.e. external databases, advanced Excel and secondary research) to analyze, review, evaluate and monitor activities, formulating conclusions and meeting with key physicians and management to communicate and technically support findings and make recommendations regarding organizational operational and development matters relative to hospital site and service lines. May provide operating and/or capital budget development support as needed. Cultivates mutual respect and confidence in relationships with physicians and management, providing reliable judgment, accountability, accuracy, and integrity.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • 1-2 years experience in a related field

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as a technical resource in the analysis and evaluation of strategic and business plans and business development initiatives. May also include both system-wide and service/facility specific strategic and tactical growth plans.
  • Conducts in-depth statistical analysis and evaluation of operational indicators, identifies program/service strengths and weaknesses, business opportunities and financial impact. May also design approaches, data sources and deliverables for market information and market trend requests in concert with the internal and external customer requesting.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of operational plans, procedures and systems; reviews and evaluates current procedures and systems and develops recommendations for improvement and/or change. May also provide market data and expertise to external primary market research projects.
  • Identifies growth opportunities for service and program improvement and/or further development. Develops special reports and recommendations. May also perform market analysis and identifies key areas of growth opportunity and threats.
  • Interprets and presents data analysis results including explanation techniques used, assumptions made and summary of results. Develops and documents methods of interpretation of results for future reference.
  • Documents and develops presentation and preparation for Management and Committee Reports, as well as analyses business development and strategic initiatives.
