Receptionist
Our busy OB/GYN Faculty Practice with 18 physicians is seeking a reliable, professional, and compassionate receptionist to join our patient services team in answering inbound calls and triaging appropriately.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service by answering calls, scheduling appointments, providing information, and ensuring every patient interaction is handled with care and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
· Answer high-volume inbound calls in a courteous and professional manner.
· Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments using our electronic medical records system
· Assist patients with general questions regarding the practice, policies, and services
· Accurately document call details and escalate issues when appropriate
· Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow
· Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards at all times
Qualifications:
· Previous call center or healthcare front-desk experience strongly preferred
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
· Bilingual preferred but not required
· Self-motivated with a positive attitude and demonstrate team spirit
· Strong written and verbal skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
· High School Diploma/Associate Degree preferred
Schedule:
· Full-time, Monday – Friday, 35 hour per week
· Must be flexible with the needs of the office
