Overview
Hutchings Psychiatric Center (HPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, located in downtown Syracuse is recruiting Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to join their Social Work team. Opportunities are available to work with individuals with mental illness in HPC’s inpatient units; the shift schedule is days including one weekend day and one evening.
Responsibilities
- Performing appropriate assessment of risk, crisis intervention, and referrals in response to mental health crises
- Developing individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Providing counseling and education to individuals, groups, and families
- Advocating and providing connections to needed services

Minimum Qualifications
- LMSW - License and current registration by New York State as an LMSW.
- LCSW – License and current registration by New York State as a LCSW.
