We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic non-profit environment where your technical expertise and customer service skills will make an impact. The role requires flexibility, as it involves in-person support four days a week and a 32-hour work schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on technical support for Mac computers, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets efficiently using a ticketing system.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing user concerns and ensuring a smooth IT experience.
• Work independently to diagnose and resolve technical problems with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless IT operations and support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
• Assist in onboarding and training users on system functionalities as needed.
• Adapt to changing schedules and priorities to meet organizational needs.• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing IT support, preferably in a helpdesk or IT department setting.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting issues related to Mac computers.
• Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and basic IT processes.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with users and team members.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• High level of flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and requirements.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering quality support.
