We are looking for an experienced IT Product Maximo Specialist to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Maximo systems to ensure smooth operations and compliance. Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting issues, enhancing system functionality, and supporting end-users with technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with vendors to coordinate regular system patches, upgrades, and testing.
• Manage user roles, security groups, and access controls to ensure compliance and support audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies by leveraging Maximo functionalities.
• Stay updated on software capabilities, industry trends, and best practices to enhance system performance.
• Assist with data analysis, reporting needs, and change management processes.
• Provide responsive technical support to end-users facing IT or Maximo-related challenges.
• Debug and resolve production issues, escalating complex problems to developers or support teams when necessary.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance business processes centered on the Maximo platform.• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology-related discipline.
• At least 9 years of relevant work experience and 10+ years of expertise in IT systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Maximo modules, workflows, and security settings.
• Familiarity with Maximo data structures and reporting processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues across all organizational levels.
• Solid understanding of IT industry standards, emerging technologies, and system design.
• Certification in relevant areas of expertise is a plus.
