We're seeking an experienced IT professional who has worked in a small-to-mid-sized community bank or financial institution. This role blends responsibilities typically spread across multiple roles—ideal for someone comfortable wearing many hats and working autonomously while supporting core IT functions.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Rosemont, IL. Occasional travel to our other branches (Edison Park and Downtown Chicago) may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Support & Help Desk: Provide internal support and first-level troubleshooting before escalating to our managed service provider.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and implement a formal vendor management program.
  • Disaster Recovery Testing: Conduct and report on monthly disaster recovery tests; ensure processes are documented and effective.
  • Incident Reporting: Manage monthly incident reporting processes and compliance documentation.
  • Process Documentation: Build and maintain clear IT process documentation and infrastructure maps.
  • Network Monitoring: Oversee daily network performance and flag performance or security issues.

Preferred Background

  • Previous experience at a community bank or small financial institution is strongly preferred, not required.
  • Familiarity with financial regulatory environments and operational expectations in banking.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple areas of IT within a lean team environment.
  • Comfortable with in-office work due to regulatory, security, and operational requirements.
  • Strong documentation and process-building skills.
